There is no big exam in Form 1. That is exactly the problem.

Primary school ends, PT3 is no longer a public exam, and suddenly nothing external is measuring your child for three straight years. Report cards say “satisfactory”. Nobody panics. Then Form 4 arrives with Add Maths, Physics and Chemistry, and the gaps that opened quietly in Form 2 turn into a very loud problem.

Lower secondary is where the syllabus stops repeating itself. Maths moves from arithmetic to algebra. Science splits into concepts that assume you understood the last chapter. English and Bahasa Melayu start demanding structured writing rather than sentences. A student can follow along in class, pass every test, and still not have the foundation Form 4 will ask for.

Fixing it now costs a few hours a week. Fixing it in Form 4 costs the SPM year. That is the whole argument for starting here.

When Form 3 ends, students move up to our Form 4 and Form 5 SPM programme without changing centre, teachers or routine.

At this age the problem is almost never ability. It is a missing step from two chapters ago that nobody went back for.

  • We diagnose before we teach: find the Form 1 hole underneath the Form 2 struggle, and fix that first.
  • Small groups: enough attention that a quiet student cannot hide at the back for a term.

Questions parents ask about Form 1–3

Do you teach Form 1, Form 2 and Form 3?
Yes. We teach all three lower secondary years, and all the core KSSM subjects: Mathematics, Science, English, Bahasa Melayu, Sejarah and Geografi. Students can join for a single subject or several.
Do you prepare students for PT3?
Yes. Form 3 students get PT3 assessment practice, timed papers and answer technique, so the format is familiar long before the day itself.
PT3 is no longer a public exam. Is Form 1–3 tuition still worth it?
This is the most common question we get, and our honest answer is that it matters more now, not less. Without a public exam, three years can pass with nothing objective measuring your child. Add Maths, Physics and Chemistry in Form 4 assume the lower secondary foundation is there. If it is not, Form 4 becomes a rescue mission during the SPM years.
My child seems to be coping. Should I still bother?
Coping in Form 2 and being ready for Form 4 are different things. Message us and we will arrange a free trial class. If your child genuinely does not need us, we will say so.
Can my child join for just one subject, like Maths?
Absolutely. Many students start with the one subject that worries them and add others later if it helps. There is no requirement to sign up for everything.

How much does it cost, and when are the classes?
Fees and the timetable depend on the form and the subjects, so we quote properly rather than guess. WhatsApp us your child’s form and subjects and we will send both.
What happens after Form 3?
Students move straight into our Form 4 and Form 5 SPM programme with the same teachers. Students in international schools continue on our Cambridge IGCSE programme instead.
